The Sanbona Wildlife reserve is situated beneath the Warmwaterberg, in the heart of the Little Karoo, between Montagu and barrydale on the famous Route 62. On 54 000 hectares of undulating mountains and plains, indigenous fauna and flora, rock formations and rock art make this a destination not to be missed.Tilney Manor has six luxuriously appointed rooms. Sanbona's second lodge, Khanni, is named after the San word for Eland a magnificent antelope revered by the San as rule of the animal kingdom. Tucked away in a secluded valley overlooking a natural watering hole, Khanni Lodge is an idyllic Klein Karoo summer house, with wrap around verandas, high lime washed ceilings and exposed beams providing a feeling of cool, airy space. From the verandah and verandas of the lodge's four spacious suites offer exquisite views of the surrounding landscape. The main features in the lodge include a dining room, lounge, fireplace and outdoor dining patio with barbeque facilities. Specialist guiding is a key element in providing a memorable and varied experience.
