Lower Slaughter Manor-Member of Von Essen Hotels a private collection of individual country houses in the UK, Scotland and France-Renowned for its award-winning cuisine, created by Head Chef, David Kelman.One of the finest seventeenth century country houses in the south of England, Lower Slaughter Manor is Grade II star listed and stands in complete tranquillity in its own private grounds on the edge of the beautiful Cotswold village of Lower Slaughter. Within the walled garden is a unique two storey dovecote dating back to the 15th century, when the Manor was a convent, and next door is the lovely village church. Lower Slaughter Manor was largely rebuilt in 1658 by the acclaimed stonemason Valentine Strong, whose son was later to become chief stonemason for St Paul s Cathedral under the direction of Sir Christopher Wren.

Classic RoomSleeps 2 3 Re-furbished Rooms with double bed- TV/CD/DVD and Broadband internet access and en-suite bathroom for a Max. occupancy of 2. Emma is on the 1st floor and Maela is on the 2nd floor of the main house with garden views. Stow is on the ground floor of the Coach House.
Deluxe Room
Sleeps 2 Re-furbished rooms with Queen Bed- seating area- TV/CD/DVD and Broadband internet access and en-suite bathroom with separate walk in shower. Some rooms can take a rollaway bed. On the first floor main house we have Faye with lilac floral wall paper and views over the rear garden. Rose can twin and is decorated in cream and beige floral with soft furnishings accented by beige checks- again views of the rear garden. On the 2nd floor we have Charlotte and Lydia both can be twinned and have sloping feature ceilings with contemporary decor. In the Coach House we have Cedar on the ground floor with bath in the bedroom and separate WC / shower room- Elm with roll top bath in the bedroom and Moreton on the first floor with King bed and a very large bathroom with walk in shower and TV in bath.
Garden Room
Sleeps 2 Ground floor very large Coach House rooms with private garden and hot tub. Valentine and Magnolia both have very extravagant bespoke beds with tall stone mullion windows. French window access to private garden with seating and own private hot tub- all year round.
Master Room
Sleeps 2 Very large beautifully re-furbished en-suite rooms with TV/CD/DVD and Broadband internet access. Rooms are large enough for rollaway. Bathrooms are large- some with feature bath and walk in shower. Antoinette in Chocolate with Cream drapes and Kate in Dark Blue with blue and white drapes are 4 Poster Beds on the 1st floor of the main house. Nina can twin and looks over the front garden and is a very large room in cream and lilac. Aimee and June both twin and feature sloping ceilings both are on the 2nd floor of the house. Beech with Longborough are first floor in the Coach House with Longborough boasting a separate dressing room.

Directions
Leave Birmingham Airport and join the B4438 signposted Coventry- Birmingham A45 Solihull. From the B4438 join the A45- from the A45 you will need to join the M42 signposted South West. At junction 3A branch left and follow signs to London to join the M40. At junction 15 leave the motorway and at roundabout take 4th exit A429 -signposted Cirencester. Stay on the A429 through to Morton in the Marsh and Stow on the Wold. At the Roman Court Hotel keep left and follow road. Junction for The Slaughters is on the right which leads into the village centre.
Start out of Bristol International Airport and follow signs M5 North- M4 to join Bristol A38. Once on A38 follow road until the junction with A3029 signposted city centre. Follow the A3029- branch left -signposted Avonmouth to join A4. At the port way roundabout take 2nd exit -signposted M5 the southwest to join motorway M5 spur. At junction 18 take right hand lane to join main motorway. At junction 11a leave motorway -signposted Cirencester and keep in right hand lane At roundabout take 1st exit to join A417. At roundabout forward A436 -signposted Stow on the Wold this join the A429. Approximately 0.5 miles after the turning to Bouton on the Water. Turn left into the Slaughters.

THE GARDEN RESTAURANTThe recently refurbished restaurant at Lower Slaughter Manor boast 2 terraces- north and south to benefit from sun throughout the year. The restaurant walls are lined with a chocolate brown silk- furnishings in blue and grey. Beautiful silver and glassware adorn the tables lit by two stunning Murano Chandeliers in crystal and Ocean Blue. Seating is intimate and evening dining is my candlelight.
