The restaurant overlooks the Lake and operates a no smoking policy. Originally built in 1860, the hotel's 35 bedrooms are all individually furnished and decorated, many with antiques and special features such as Jacuzzi baths, four poster beds, balconies and suites with delightful views. This country house hotel has cosy lounges with log fires burning in the winter and offers decadent afternoon teas overlooking the Lake. From Motorway - The M54 motorway westbound becomes the A5 at Telford. Follow the A5 around Shrewsbury and take the A458 signposted to Welshpool. After a few miles, just after Ford, turn right onto the B4393. Follow the brown tourist signs for Lake Vyrnwy until you reach the Lake. The hotel driveway is on the right hand side. From Airport - From Birmingham Airport, follow the M42 northbound. Follow the M6 northbound and then the M54 signposted to Telford. The M54 motorway westbound becomes the A5 at Telford. Follow the A5 around Shrewsbury and take the A458 signposted to Welshpool. After a few miles, just after Ford, turn right onto the B4393. Follow the brown tourist signs for Lake Vyrnwy until you reach the Lake. The hotel driveway is on the right hand side.
