The Georgian building was originally owned by the Marquis of Lothian and was once used as a training school for clergy. It was known then as The Bishops Hostel. The restaurant is recognised as one of the finest in the area, both for its fine cuisine and its excellents service. Holders of RAC Blue Ribbon award and 2 AA Rosettes.
