Property Description

Heinrich Siesmayer 1817 - 1900 a well known landscape architect and creator of the Palmengarten in Frankfurt designed the park on nearly 15 acres modeling to English parks. On August 20 in 1909 the opening ceremony of a convalescent home for the officers of the imperial army took place. Eight buildings in the English manor style comprise the new,half-circular fashion arranged complex. These buildings are all connected through an underground tunnel. 90 years later there is again time to celebrate a ceremonial opening. Since 9th September 1999 the property shines beautifully as an international luxury hotel, carefully restored and refurbished. Granting of the Five-Star-Superior Hotel distinction by the Deutschen Hotel- und Gaststaettenverband DeHoGa;German Hotel and Restaurant Association.
