The Ocean Manor Resort is celebrating its 50th Anniversary during 2008, and it certainly has golden past. The first resort along the famed Galt Ocean Mile, the OM became a celebrity magnet during the 1960's and 70's attracting the publicity shy Johnny Carson as a regular, along with Robert Conrad and Erik Clapton. Current owner, Frank Talerico, desired to restore the historic resort's former glory and has invested in a multi-million dollar makeover.
