Directions

Heckfield Place lies in 400 acres of rolling countryside on the borders of Hampshire and Berkshire just west of London in southern England. Heckfield Place is a 40 minute drive from both Heathrow and the capital on the easily accessed M3 motorway. Gatwick is a further 35 minutes by car. From Reading to the hotel it is just a 10 minute drive.

This spectacular room - redolent of an exclusive private club - is very much in keeping with the period of the house and its discreet spirit. The Library is a classic Martini-style bar specialising in classic and modern cocktails.

Drawing Room

Elegant and smart without being overly formal The Drawing Room serves as the house lounge. It is as well suited to afternoon tea with the late evening sun blazing through large bay windows as it is for a late night single malt.

Restaurant

Our hub of all things foodie - this vibrant family-friendly space serves everything from hearty English breakfasts to traditional charcuterie and cheese. The Restaurant uses seasonal local produce to indulge our love of proper food.

Stables Bar

The Stables Bar and Terrace specialises in English pub grub and beers. On a summer evening guests can relax on the terrace and enjoy the splendid views over the lake and grounds. In winter there are welcoming sofas in front of an open-fire.

Great food has soul. Our Dining Room is not hushed and reverential but an intimate space providing proper gastronomy - the finest ingredients many sourced from our estate and impeccably cooked.
