Location-Located in the 9th district of Paris Hotel Jules is at the crossroads of charming bohemian streets and shoppers paradise a few blocks away from famous auction houses and the typically parisien boulevards host of many famous theaters. The hotel is located on rue Lafayette near rue du Faubourg Montmartre. upon entering the hotel the visitor is automatically is surrounded by custom made furnishings all made to the designers vision - the carpet motif of black and white diamonds compels the visitor to follow the pathway to the reception area - the ceiling lights reminiscent of large camembert cheese of various sizes lights the way and on the left a oversize white leather wall banquette is ready for the weary traveller to rest or have a refreshment from the bar. The bar is on the ground floor opening off the lobby area - a custom built bar counter replicating travelling trunks of the 50s but with a funky twist in being white - where large club chairs in black leather are coupled with square stools and low tables sculpted out of various woods such as oak beech and elm - these are in a variety of shapes and sizes and were specifically commissioned for the hotel. Rooms and suites - in a typical haussmanian building hotel jules offers 101 rooms on 6 floors in 2 categories - standard rooms -12 16 m2-superior -18 M2- deluxe -25 m2 as well as 6 suites each with direct elevator access.75 renovated rooms are in a contemporary style where chocolate brown and cream are the dominant tones. All rooms are equipped with lcd television. 20 rooms have a more classical decor and the 6 suites are fitted with toile de jouy wall covering with matching curtains and bedspreads. Most bathrooms have shower some with bathtub. Infrastructures- fitness - ust adjacent to the receptions the fitness centre with 3 cardio-vascular machines -treadmill stepmaster and bicycle.
